Embarking on Our Journey
From The story of 715 Paintball dates to before I was born. In 1991, my dad, Ben, played his first game of paintball with his National Guard platoon. Having a blast that first game sparked a love in him that I was born into. Fast forward to the mid to late 90’s where an idea was born within my dad; to create a limited paint pump event. Seeing his drive to make it happen from networking to location prospecting showed me that a dream can be more than just that. Why not do what I love? This kid kept that dream alive when the fire died down in the old man.
While dad played for Stalker’s grassroot 3 man team, I spent a lot of time in the pro shop. Getting hands on with guns that needed repair, seeing the hot selling items, and providing as much upselling as a 12 year old could. Away from the field, at school, with friends, around family, I was always known as the paintball kid. Any chance I could spark a paintball conversation, I would to anyone who would listen. Fast forward through years of tournament, scenario, and recreational play, flights, fights, and hardship, I now see that little kid trying to get his hands on gear and playing whenever he can in my son.
Throughout all this time, I’ve seen fields and stores in the area come and go. While the goal is to provide a top notch paintball field to Central Wisconsin, providing fields for players of all skill levels, events that are not only fun but well coordinated, and in person sales and service like any great field, we’re not going to rush anything and fizzle out like we’ve seen before. We are researching in depth location options without compromise. There are a lot of boxes that need to be checked before opening a field and store, however, 715 Paintball is a commitment to providing the facility we’ve all been dreaming of. To promote the sport we all love with positivity and inclusivity. To grow the sport from the grassroots. To introduce and retain future generations of paintballers. We’ve all done plenty of driving to experience our peers’ local fields. Soon we’ll be inviting our friends to the great Northwoods.
